How to ask for a refund

1. E-mail support@icancrochet.com from the address you used at checkout.
2. Include your order number, and a short note about why the patterns were not right — only because it helps me make them better, never because I need convincing.
3. I handle it personally. Your money goes back to the card or PayPal account you paid with, normally within 3–5 business days once I have processed it. How quickly it then appears on your statement is up to your bank.

Stuck rather than unhappy?

If the problem is that you cannot open a file, cannot find your download, or are stuck on a round — please write to me first. Most of these take me two minutes to fix, and I would far rather get you crocheting than take your patterns away. For step-by-step download help, see How To Download.

Your legal right to cancel (UK and EU customers)

Consumers in the United Kingdom and the European Union normally have 14 days to change their mind about an online purchase. For digital content delivered immediately there is an exception: by completing your order and ticking to receive your patterns straight away, you ask me to begin delivery at once and you acknowledge that you lose that statutory 14-day right of withdrawal once the download has started.

That is the law’s minimum. My own guarantee is more generous and it still applies: you have 30 days, and I will refund you whether or not you have downloaded the files.

A few honest limits

• The guarantee runs for 30 days from the date of purchase.
• It covers patterns bought directly from this website. Patterns bought through my Etsy shop follow Etsy’s own policy — write to me there and I will still look after you.
• Refunds go back to the original payment method. I cannot send them anywhere else.
• Once refunded, your licence to use the patterns ends and the download links stop working. Please delete your copies.
• If the same person repeatedly buys and refunds, I may decline future orders. This has almost never happened and I mention it only for completeness.

Faulty or missing files

If a file is corrupted, incomplete or simply will not open, that is my problem to fix and it sits outside the 30 days entirely. Tell me and I will send you a working copy, or refund you if I cannot.
